Caryn and I started Rose Hearing from scratch when moving from California to Bluffton/Hilton Head in 2017. I planned for retirement, after 40 years of helping people to hear well. When settling in I needed to check on getting help for my hearing loss and need for up-to-date hearing technology and started looking at the local Hearing clinics. In my search I found the lack of empathy and professionalism I would expect. So, I went home and had a discussion with Caryn on the need for professional and experienced hearing help and decided to open our first office in Hilton Head.  

While putting the finishing touches on the office people started coming in for help. We officially opened the doors May 2018, in that first month generating $80,000 in revenue, that is when we knew this was special!!

In 2022, Jason Orsik approached us to possibly join Professional Hearing Group/Pro Hear Group. We previously sold one of our California offices to another company who did not honor their word. So, we were skeptical about selling this office. We were not thrilled to sell our Swan Song to someone else, we have a method that works and the team we built worked and works well together.

We were promised by Jason we could remain employed by his company, which made our decision a little easier, although, it took us many days and late nights to realize that the offer from Jason was too good to pass on, I still was apprehensive because we were not ready to sell. We were not even thinking about it when Jason approached us.

Caryn and I have built many Hearing Aid Offices together over our 30-year marriage and Hilton Head was by far our best Office. Our crew is like a fine-tuned watch working cohesively for our Patients and with each other.

Jason and Jared have kept their word, we are able to keep running the office the way we know works, with great ideas from OnePHG to improve. Always room for improvement. It has been nice to be free to just be us and relieved of the pressures of ownership, and everyone we have met have been great. We feel we made the right decision to join with Jason and Jared at OnePHG.
